An eleventh career win for Rod Millman’s CRYSTAL CASQUE and the third for us this year 🙂

All booted home by young Oliver Searle looked to have a bit in hand over the Gosden favourite on the very easy conditions.

Offered up at 8’s in the morning backed into 9/2.

 

For those on the  2022/23 £1k to £10k Annual Challenge, the bank stands at £1452.44 with current full stakes at £18.16 EW with over a 40% win/place rate. 

The 2023 Turf bank stands at +37.3 pts to 1pt EW stakes with over a 40% win/place rate.

Today’s Selections

 

Sandown 17.52

Another two paying slot race though a couple of outfits do offer the extra slot.

Two short priced 3yo’s head up the market but will opt for another go with a previous ‘double winner’ CRYSTAL CASQUE.

Hopefully that 4f uphill finish will see them off and ours, 9-1-5 at the track.

A nice winner for us on the AW in January before replicating it on turf for us.

2-1-2 in sub 8 runner races, Oliver Searle doing the honours again claiming 7lb from his counterparts on those 3yo’s.

He’s plenty of experience up top and aside from Harry Burns on the Simon Crisford 2nd fav, the rest are riding first time out.

There’s 8’s and regulation TWO paying places this morning. bet365 go 9’s to press with 3 PLACES.
