Oliver Seale booted home CRYSTAL CASQUE for us for the second time at HQ.

The most experienced pilot in the line up was always to the fore and held off  Le Reveur with something in hand 🙂

Price held up reasonably well, was on at 16’s overnight but, was on the move early doors from 9’s into 13/2 at the off. A double for the yard on the night sent Rod Millman home happy.

Our other charge Asmund was heavily backed into 100/30f . Finished in the places for those who got just better than wipes yer face.

 

For those on the  2022/23 £1k to £10k Annual Challenge, the bank stands at £1128.64 with current full stakes at £14.11 EW with over a 35% win/place rate. 

The 2023 Turf bank stands at +10.75s to 1pt EW stakes with over a 35% win/place rate.

Today’s Selections

 

Newmarket 17.20

Plenty of pace about from the likes of Dashing Dick and Chief’s Will to ensure a true run race.

Not for everyone these apprentice handicaps, however we have a dual purpose tracker going in this one.

With not much 12 month winning form in this line up the price about CRYSTAL CASQUE still looks a tad inviting.

Was on around 16’s last night but has come in to just about double digit prices 🙁

Nonetheless, was a nice winner for us on the AW in January and comes in on second run after a mini-break. LTO was in a hotter race than this with plenty of 3yo’s but this evening is more his boat.

Drops to C5 again where we hope for the same outcome as his early turf win in grade last year where the trainer was up before the beak and explained the drop in grade brought on the win 🙂

Oliver Searle has plenty of experience up top and aside from Mia Nicholls on the EJ-H charge Greg The Great, the rest are riding first time out.

Currently 9’s across the board with 10’s from bet365 and FOUR paying slots this morning.
