With no selections to report on yesterday it’s straight onto today and our first selection of the week with two trackers out.

Both meets rate heavy and it will be the usual bottomless ground at Chepstow with Timeform below for that one below.

The first is Modelligo who goes in the last at Chepstow who should go well off a rating of 100 and ran well LTO to suggest he should be close, it’s a 6 runner and not very inviting odds so will pass over.

Analyst’s Verdict:
Garrane got off the mark in good style at Taunton last week, and looks capable of following up under a penalty. Courtinthemiddle could play a part if ready to roll on his return, with Phangio another to consider.

Air Navigator’s useful bumper form shows that he has plenty of ability and he seems sure to have learnt from an encouraging fourth over hurdles at Doncaster last month. C&D winner The Last Day should play a leading role, while others to mention include Another Emotion and Kings Monarch.

Analyst’s Verdict:
Garran City took a while to make it to the track following his point win 2 years ago, but he offered plenty to work on when third in a C&D novice last month, and is taken to improve past Samburu Shujaa. Of the rest, Ocean Cove could easily bounce back with the tongue tie discarded.

Market Road continued his story of relentless progress when winning for the fifth time this season over C&D last month and he remains one to keep on side. The Bay Birch has been much improved also since joining her current yard and rates a big threat.

Analyst’s Verdict:
Lady Karina, a good winner on her return at Warwick in November didn’t really get chance to show what she could do at Cheltenham the following month (fell sixth). She remains open to improvement and gets the vote to prove her revised mark a workable one. Brynmawr, who scored convincingly at Southwell 16 days ago, and the in-form Virginia Chick look the next best.

Analyst’s Verdict:
Beallandendall won with quite a bit in hand over this C&D last month and remains unexposed over fences. Modeligo took a step back on the right direction behind that one there and is feared most.
