Crossbar…post…..another frustrating runner up slot with Cyrius DM yesterday!!!

We mentioned in the write up that Lacy’s runner should give wipes yer face returns and indeed that proved true as he ran out the winner holding ours all the way to the line. We’re singles backers only, but know some of you take note of the write ups so well done anyone taking any forecasts in that one….you crazy fools LOL!!

Despite some decent looking field sizes today, there’s a lot of novice action and nothing anything of a price in the others so we will lay off today

Looking at tomorrow…..

No draw news to press on he Lincoln……we’ll be back with a view although still rather keen on 10p EW on our stormer last year, BALLARD DOWN who gave us that great 16/1 win at Newmarket last July when we had a barnstorming run. There’s also another of our favourites, DONNCHA who was placed here last year in the race but hasn’t really paid for us since 2015…..there’s been a bit of a gamble n him in from 22’s to 14’s…..more about that tomorrow.

Draw will obviously be key……a nice stands or rail position a bonus.

Membership things…..

Ok, most of you are sorted aside from a few of the NH package guys. Having had a chat with our webmaster last night in Oz we are ready to go live on Monday morning. As he said, whilst England sleeps…Australia works ( to an extent:) and we have loaded all your emails in so you will receive a welcome email and instruction to sign in and the ability to set your own password.

On a daily basis we will send out a notification email to say a ‘Daily Blog post’ has gone live. You will be able to see it permanently in the ‘Blogs’ Page so even if you didn’t see a notification email you can still login to the website and see if anything has been added for the day. Sounds complicated but will be a lot easier for you and NO mail provider issues with your firewalls occasionally blocking our newsletters!

Additionally we can also offer you ‘affiliate status’….for the entrepreneurs amongst you, if you wish to promote us, then you can have your individual links to earn recurring 40% commission on any sales you bring in on the packages. we know a few of you also have blogs so provides an opportunity to promote us. We will however have a capped limit so that selection prices are not compromised.

Hopefully Monday will go smoothly enough but we will endeavour to rectify any issues quickly.

It’s last chance saloon for the guys whose packages run out next week – the current rate page will go when he turns it live on Sunday night. Those discounted rates are on the linked page below….again any q’s…..feedback@always-back-winners.com

2.00 Be Wiser Insurance Novices’ Hurdle (3) 2½m118y

Analyst’s Verdict:
Euxton Lane is progressing by the run over hurdles, outclassing his rivals in a maiden at Fontwell a fortnight ago, and this trip can only draw out further improvement. De Rasher Counter will find this easier having contented a handicap from a lofty mark last time, with Oscars Leader also of interest.

Timeform Top Rated:
141p 2. EUXTON LANE Oliver Sherwood Leighton Aspell
140 1. DE RASHER COUNTER Emma Lavelle Nick Scholfield
139 5. OSCARS LEADER Jo Davis Jack Sherwood (3)

2.30 Be Wiser Insurance Handicap Chase (3) 2¾m93y

Analyst’s Verdict:
Kincora Fort faces his sternest assignment yet over fences, but there is no doubting he is on an upwardly mobile curve in this sphere, impressing with the manner of his victory at Huntingdon last month. The handicapper may not have caught up with him yet and he can complete the hat-trick. Halo Moon and Church Hall are next best.

Timeform Top Rated:
140p 7. KINCORA FORT Noel Williams Wayne Hutchinson
137 3. PRIVATE MALONE Emma Lavelle Gavin Sheehan
137? 1. BALLY LONGFORD Colin Tizzard Harry

3.05 Doom Bar Handicap Hurdle (4) 3m52y

Analyst’s Verdict:
Christmas In April is unexposed as a stayer and would have finished closer at Ascot when last seen in December but for a mistake at a crucial time. He rates the most persuasive option, though Fizzlestix is unpenalised for last week’s small-field success, while Tudors Treasure shapes as though he has a bigger performance in him.

Timeform Top Rated:
129 5. CHRISTMAS IN APRIL Nicky Henderson Nico de Boinville
128 10. FIZZLESTIX Chris Gordon James Bowen (3)
124 1. LATE SHIPMENT Nikki Evans Kieron Edgar (3)

3.40 Rosemary Appeal Novices’ Limited Handicap Chase (3) 2m7f86y

Analyst’s Verdict:
An open-looking event, with Bobo Mac taken to come out on top. He was in the process of running well before departing on his second start over fences at Exeter, and should go well again if none the worse. Ice Cool Champs was a progressive hurdler so may yet do better over fences, while Le Boizelo has shaped as if this longer trip will suit.

Timeform Top Rated:
147 4. BOBO MAC Tom Symonds James Davies
145 5. SOMEWHERE TO BE Martin Keighley Aidan Coleman
143 1. ICE COOL CHAMPS Philip Hobbs Richard Johnson

4.10 Be Wiser Insurance Handicap Hurdle (2) 2m69y

Analyst’s Verdict:
Moabit is in top form at present, and looks hard to oppose with question marks lingering over several of his rivals. Early du Lemo is interesting, especially if the market speaks in his favour, while Curious Carlos should give his running.

Timeform Top Rated:
145 2. MOABIT Paul Nicholls Bryony Frost (3)
143p 7. EARLY DU LEMO Gary Moore Joshua Moore
140 1. CURIOUS CARLOS Peter Bowen James Bowen (3)

4.45 BJP Insurance Brokers Open Hunters’ Chase (6) 2m7f86y

Analyst’s Verdict:
Billy Merriott hasn’t had much luck but landed a point in good style when last seen a year ago and could be worth chancing returning in a hunter that won’t take much winning. Carlisle-winner Jimmy The Jetplane can go well again if allowed to dictate matters.
