Nice to be back in the winners enclosure at Ayr 🙂

Danzan has always looked a decent sort and has finally come good for connections on two of his last three runs.

Will take that with Jason Hart coming with a strong run at the finish. Backed into 8/1 hopefully most got that early price. Clearly it was the stands sides turn today…..who knows what tomorrow will bring 🙂

Our 2nd selection brought up the reas…c’est la view, 1st to last in 10 seconds 🙂

Today’s Selections

 

Ayr 15.45

Opting for a couple going in this one and with most of the pace drawn stands side in this one prefer those drawn higher today.

DANZAN has been frustrating and backers were finally rewarded at Thirsk when beating our selection Wobwobwob home.

Always been competitive in this grade after coming in from Andrew Balding’s yard. Ran well enough here in 2020 and last year 3rd in this from 6 higher off 84 at a well fancied 11/2.

A consistent sort (frustratingly!) is 28 runs/ 16 places on these type of tracks and 4-0-3 over going and trip.

Hopefully thereabouts with Jason Hart doing the steering and a best 14’s with the 6 paying places.

Our 2nd selection also drawn high is the Grant Tuer trained VINCE LOMBARDI.

Wasn’t disgraced when running at trip and class at Notts as a 2yo, then started the season at 7f.

Ran here in July over the 7f when asked the question 1f out, but best was on penultimate at Carlisle dropped back to the 6f.

That was a very easy win and will forgive the appearance LTO on the AW when turned out quickly.

Hopefully still progressive and another who will be coming from just off that high drawn pace.
