Epeius wins….BOG @ 8/1
A cracking winner for us late last night as EPEIUS gave us our second nice priced winner of the week for Ben Haslam who we have touted in glowing terms of late. It was much as we said with Andrew Mullen producing late coming from off the pace and quickened up really well to beat the hot favourite Gowanbuster. He was backed down to 5’s and hopefully most of you got at least the early 7’s 🙂
For those on the £1k to £10k challenge….it’s an early season 40% win/place strike rate and over a 38%ROI…….our bank is now £1187.50 and current stakes are now £14.84 EW

We have mentioned Ben Haslam’s record of late and EPEIUS was noted in our tracker following a sound run at Redcar LTO. Back on his favoured AW, he should put in another solid showing at EW odds. The favourite Gowanbuster looks a solid one for the lumpers drawn ‘apparently ideally’ as a front runner front a high draw.
However ours likes to come from off the pace and has won a couple of times from a low-mid draw twice.
Andrew Mullen is well versed at Newcastle and has a win & place up top of him already.
He still looks to be improving and there’s a best 8/1 with SkyBet this morning
