A day for the lumpers yesterday with 6 very short short priced winning favourites at Catterick….the highest priced at Leicester being a 5/1 shot 🙁 Friday isn’t a whole heap better at this stage with just one handicap race with double digit 10 runners!

However, there’s one of note at Huntingdon that drops a couple of grades and maybe slightly underestimated on form so far this term.

Danceintothelight was back on song when runner-up at Catterick last time and is worth siding with to build on that at a venue where he’s enjoyed success in the past. Best To Come rates an obvious danger after a promising first run for Keith Dalgleish here on Boxing Day, while Magic Dragon appeals as a potential improver now handicapping.

Champion Chase isn’t streets ahead of his mark but he’s consistent in the main and should be straight for this third outing of the campaign, so he gets the vote to overcome the seemingly well-in Castletown, who often come unstuck in a battle. An improved showing from Newquay Cards isn’t out of the question trying fences for the first time.
