Dream Today’s place ensure it was virtually a stand still day in terms of the bank – Mark Johnston’s charge was closing down on the winner staying on well to take second and we’ll watch where he goes next. Sheepscar Lad ran down the field at Ponty with his worst race of the season – racing bang on the heels of Hee Haw he had to be snatched back a couple of times during the first half of the race.

Newmarket and Haydock today…..feature at HQ being the Silver Cambridgeshire and a cracking handicap (17.15) – we’re not making a play here but Keyser Soze has one who has threatened in the big handicaps and noted in Newbury’s Spring Mile. It’s a long way from Frankel and Tom Queally does have his critics – he was 2nd in a muddling paced run at Haydock LTO. He missed the cut for tomorrow’s feature but could well run at a big price here.

Haydock is our focus for members selections today and the information is posted below.

1.50 Muhaarar British EBF Rosemary Stakes (Listed) (1) 1m

Timeform Top Rated:
121 1. UNFORGETABLE FILLY Hugo Palmer Ben Curtis
118 6. AGROTERA Ed Walker Jamie Spencer
117? 8. ELLTHEA K. R. Burke Tom Marquand

Analyst’s Verdict:
Easy Royal Ascot winner Agrotera got back on track with a fine second at Longchamp earlier this month and remains relatively low-mileage. She can land the spoils in the opener. Unforgettable Filly must be respected on the back of her convincing Haydock success, whilst Laugh Aloud is better than she showed last time.

2.25 Princess Royal Nayef Stakes (Group 3) (1) 1½m

Timeform Top Rated:
122 3. STAR ROCK Hughie Morrison Oisin Murphy
121 6. MRS SIPPY David Simcock Jamie Spencer
118 1. CRIMSON ROSETTE Charlie Fellowes Stevie Donohoe

Analyst’s Verdict:
This can go to Mrs Sippy, who has progressed with each start this term and had a bit in hand when taking a Longchamp listed race earlier this month. The ultra-consistent Star Rock will be a big danger, whilst Sun Maiden also enters calculations.

3.00 Shadwell Rockfel Stakes (Group 2) (1) 7f

Timeform Top Rated:
121 7. MAIN EDITION Mark Johnston Frankie Dettori
120 6. JUST WONDERFUL Aidan O’Brien Ryan Moore
113 9. YOURTIMEISNOW Roger Varian Silvestre De Sousa

Analyst’s Verdict:
Yourtimeisnow is progressing well and showed a willing attitude when making a successful transition to pattern company at Salisbury last time. She can complete the hat-trick. Just Wonderful and Main Edition rate the chief dangers despite below-par efforts last time.

3.35 Shadwell Joel Stakes (Group 2) (1) 1m

Timeform Top Rated:
128 3. ZABEEL PRINCE Roger Varian Silvestre De Sousa
127 1. ACCIDENTAL AGENT Eve Johnson Houghton Charles Bishop
126 2. MUSTASHRY Sir Michael Stoute Jim Crowley

Analyst’s Verdict:
Zabeel Prince was ill at ease on the firmer surface when disappointing in the Lockinge last time, but is unlikely to be wanting for fitness on his return and gets the vote in what looks an interesting contest. Mustashry is the obvious danger.

4.10 Derrinstown British EBF Maiden Stakes (4) 7f

Timeform Top Rated:
97p 2. ESTIHDAAF Saeed bin Suroor Oisin Murphy
86p 7. OUZO Richard Hannon Ryan Moore
84 4. LYNCHPIN Jane Chapple-Hyam Noel Garbutt (3)

Analyst’s Verdict:
Estihdaaf‘s debut at York contained more than enough promise to think he can win a race of this nature, particularly with an experience edge over the majority of his rivals. Tempus, a half-brother to Time Test and the son of a promising first-season sire, makes loads of appeal on pedigree, as does Breeze-Up graduate Velorum.

4.45 Mukhadram Godolphin Stakes (Listed) (1) 1½m

Timeform Top Rated:
126 2. RAHEEN HOUSE Brian Meehan Jamie Spencer
124 5. COMMUNIQUE Mark Johnston Ryan Moore
122 1. BARSANTI Roger Varian Silvestre De Sousa

Analyst’s Verdict:
Sole 3-y-o representative Communique proved his effectiveness over this trip when getting back to winning ways at Newbury last week and makes plenty of appeal on his return to pattern company. Raheen House is feared most.

5.15 Shadwell Farm Handicap (Silver Cambridgeshire) (2) 1m1f

Timeform Top Rated:
113 20. LITTLE JO Brian Ellison Ben Robinson (3)
108 11. MEDIEVAL Paul Cole Oisin Murphy
107 1. KEYSER SOZE Richard Spencer Tom Queally

Analyst’s Verdict:
Hard to get away from Little Jo, who looks very well treated under a 4 lb penalty for another ready win last time and he’ll be tough to beat with further progress a distinct possibility. It is likely History Writer still has a bigger performance in him, while Keyser Soze went close in the Spring Cup off this mark at the start of the season. Everything For You and Medieval also make the shortlist.
