1.15 Winner Plant And Access Handicap Hurdle (5) 3m1f166y

Timeform Top Rated
108 5. GOLD BONNE RAINE Evan Williams Miss Isabel Williams (7)
107§ 6. QUINTO Jimmy Frost Bryony Frost (3)
103 2. DOWNLOADTHEAPP David Bridgwater Daniel Hiskett (5)

Analyst’s Verdict:
Gold Bonne Raine is still a maiden but she again emerged with plenty of credit when runner-up at Ffos Las last month and can win a race of this nature. Downloadtheapp would be a big threat if seeing out this longer trip (keen early last time), while Quinto shouldn’t be ignored either for all he isn’t one to go overboard about.

1.50 TBA/EBF Mares’ Beginners’ Chase (Qualifier) (4) 2m5f135y

Timeform Top Rated
143p 6. MOLLY CHILDERS Stuart Edmunds Ciaran Gethings

Analyst’s Verdict:
Molly Childers made a sound start to her chase career at Bangor last month and can make her experience count against 5 rivals who are tackling fences for the first time. Graceful Legend will clearly be a threat if he she can translate anything like her useful hurdle ability, while Huntingdon novice hurdle winner Jet Set landed a point at the start of her career.

2.20 Southern Cranes And Access Mares’ Handicap Hurdle (Qualifier) (3) 2m3f49y

Timeform Top Rated
132 5. SECRET DOOR Harry Fry Miss A. B. O’Connor (5)
131 4. WAIHEKE Philip Hobbs Liam Heard
130 3. SHAMBRA Lucy Wadham Maxime Tissier (5)

Analyst’s Verdict:
A leap of faith is required in supporting Secret Door on recent evidence. Yet it is feasible to think the extended 26f caught her out on return at Newton Abbot and, given she will find this much more suitable, she could be worth chancing from what rates a handy mark. She’s Gina and Daytime Ahead are just 2 possible threats in a wide-open affair.

2.55 JEB Construction Conditional Jockeys’ Novices’ Hurdle (4) 2m1f162y

Timeform Top Rated
140p 1. COMMANCHE RED Chris Gordon Harry Reed
137 2. MON PORT Olly Murphy Fergus Gregory (3)
127§ 7. FIRMAGE BURG Harry Fry Kieron Edgar (3)

Analyst’s Verdict:
Commanche Red isn’t sure to be suited by this drop back in trip, but he’s the brightest prospect in this field and hard to oppose. Front-runner Mon Port looks the main threat.

3.25 Follow The Albion With Seagull Travel Handicap Chase (5) 3m1f210y

Timeform Top Rated
108p 2. SOUNDS OF ITALY Dan Skelton Bridget Andrews
106 3. BERMEO Johnny Farrelly Rex Dingle (7)
101? 6. HOW’S VIENNA Mark Shears Sean Houlihan (5)

Analyst’s Verdict:
Sounds of Italy was much improved on his second start for this yard when winning at Uttoxeter 3 weeks ago and is very much one to keep on the right side. Hat-trick seeking Bermeo is the obvious threat.

3.55 Axio Standard Open National Hunt Flat (5) 2m1f162y

Timeform Top Rated
110 1. ALRIGHTJACK Jamie Snowden Sam Twiston-Davies
106p 6. MILKWOOD Neil Mulholland Robert Dunne
105 4. HYMN AND A PRAYER Fiona Shaw Mr Michael Legg (5)

Analyst’s Verdict:
Sign of War hails from a talented family, his dam a winner in this sphere, and he’s an appealing candidate on paper starting out for an in-form yard. I K Brunel fetched €62,000 last year and also ticks a few boxes, while Milkwood is probably the pick of those with experience.
