Horse Racing Selections – 10th October 2020

It’s back on the Knavesmire for more turf action from York this afternoon.

A nice 16/1 winner yesterday with Roger Fell’s GLOBAL SPIRIT doing the business that put us briefly through the £4k on the challenge. Ben Curtis had him held held up for a long way before producing him in the last furlong for what looked a comfortable win. However, a disappointing run from our evening AW charge who didn’t make any use of a prime draw at Kempton and we are yet to get off the mark on the sandbagging quest 🙂

We’re just looking at one at York for our Saturday punt.

Today’s member’s notes are below….

BOL with any of your betting selections.

With nothing of note at Goodwood on Sunday, will be back at the coal face from Musselburgh on MONDAY around 8.00am in the morning 🙂

For those on the £1k to £10k Annual challenge, its currently over a 43% win/place rate and our bank is £3987.10 with an ROI of over 49% and current stakes £49.84 EW

  1. Disappointing week.
    9 losers ( nowhere near a place)
    1 place
    1 winner albeit 16/1.
    1 in 10 doesn’t give u confidence to maintain
    consistent stakes

    • Thats the nature of the beast with longer odds being used. You should be in profit?

      • Thanks for the feedback Grecianite. I am sure you’re backing win only on the challenge. How are you getting on?

  2. Its not about weeks in isolation Bill at the prices we play. Profit all the same 😉

  3. No bets today? Can’t see any bets for today

    • Cheers Andy.Nothing for me this morning.Let’s hope it gets sorted soon

    • Hi Andy.Would you be kind enough to tell me the price that was given for Boudica Bay ? Generally a 3/1 shot.Doesn’t seem to be the sort of price that’s normally put up.

  11. `Is there a selection for 12 october. Using a email dated 4/9 to get in yr sitewhich is poor by any standard.
for £25 a week. Re changingv sub methods . I do not understand why you would offer me to pay £120 a year less.
Make sure yr selections are easily available or this will be my last month with you.

  12. Hi Wayne,

I took 5/1 which I think is what they recommended.

    Andy

  13. Thanks for posting Andy
