We end the working week with meetings at Chester, Sandown and the penultimate day of the St Leger Festival at Donny.

There’s only one race of note at Doncaster, being the C2 (14.10) with a tracker we backed previously at Chester. That’s Tony Coyle’s Broken Spear. Winless in 15 outings, he’s certainly dropped the ratings and has bumped into the similarly well handicapped Orvar and Abel Handy on last two runs. His heyday 2018 season with that win over Angel Alexander pushed him right up the weights, but nonetheless has looked comfortable down on lower 80’s and as though 6f is now the trip. Prior to those last two runs, hit repeated trouble behind Tukhoom at York, finishing unplaced. He certainly doesn’t look out of this for a small shrapnel bet at 18’s. You can get 4 slots for that with SkyBet and they will probably allow you £3.41 EW 🙂 The other tracker is Tim Easterby’s Danzan who has run up a ‘prile of 2nds’ and another one who should be around the places at 12’s.
