The stats lads are up early today. Gary quoting best off so many days break,best RPR here in September, winning six from seven off a break of less than seven days. Ian then quotes a horse wearing the first time visor for the stable is 4 from 13. How important are stats? Many think they are and it becomes their main plank for selections. I much prefer profiling which i suppose is a form of stats but isn’t as rigid as cold stats……………. It is a long time since Mutabaahy won (15 i think) He runs off 70 and his last four RPR,s are 61,65,68 and 69. Sir Hector goes off 59 and his last three RPR,s are 58,51 and 45. As i have said many times before i wouldn’t worry too much about previous performances with these herd animals…….. Luca Cumani once said (told you before) when asked about the slow time last time out and it’s performance today. He replied ‘The only people who should consider time are those in prison’…… I have left the best stat till last. I drooped my egg in the boiling water today and lo and behold it was a double yolker. That can only mean one thing. Get a double on these two selections. Get in There.
I think that Phil Bull had a different view on times
He certainly did Peter.Never a massive fan of Timeform and when i was taking bets a couple of punters used to lump on their good things but it was very rare they brought home the bacon. I think Betfair bought Timeform many years ago !!
Yes they bought timeform, I think it was when jimbo sold out.
