Horse Racing Selections – 17th October 2020

Saturday’s racing from our perspective comes from Catterick on the turf and Dunstall Park, Wolves on the All Weather. There’s also a ‘minor’ fixture going on somewhere down south featuring some creatures that ours can only aspire to 🙂

Looking at Wolves, it’s still a bit early on the AW and the only one who has featured in our tracker notes is Roger Fell’s Yolo Again (19.30). LTO was given a real blast from the front under Oisin Murphy/ He’s  around 10 below his 2 winning marks on the AW. However, they have come over the 5f trip and drawn out wide here maybe best watched under JPS, and possibly one to note when dropping back to the minimum trip?

At Catterick, there’s a veterans race (15.10) featuring Redrosezorro who has done well for us this term. He’s certainly a track specialist and likely to be made favourite here. However, we’ll keep that money in the bank off a career high mark and off a sharper 6f. Nonetheless should be in the mix with Jason Hart up top.

We’ve just one today at the Yaaarkshire track 🙂

  1. Thanks for the tips for the flat turf season. Will now cancel my subs as I’m really not interested in betting on the cat litter. Will rejoin at the start of next season
Here’s hoping to a good winter season for you all.

  2. disappointing day especially as REDROSE tanked home and Easterby had all those winners!!!!

    • I’d say a disappointing month so far David, only one winner to shout about,I can’t remember any other of the selections even placing.

      • Yey, very disappointing so far Andy – March and October always tend to be hit and miss on the changeover. Here’s looking for a good season on the AW 🙂

    • We’ve never done sub 4/1 David, so will always continue to look elsewhere. I would have been hung drawn and quartered with a Saturday selection at 11/4. Yep, the Easterby’s had a good day though a 2yo is not our stuff either. Ella had a ‘bollin’ good day though 🙂

  3. Lots of 6’s around for the RedRose in the morning Gary!

  4. Even when I got up lol

  5. Ha ha, i was blogging from 6 till 8🤮
