Horse Racing Selections – 17th October 2023

A sole meeting on the turf from Leicester today.

Just one tracker of note going in the (17.10) Lyndon Farms Handicap. That’s a class 3 over 7f with just ordinarily just two paying places.

However, there’s a good few outfits offering three on this one. There’s one backed earlier in the season going who is a decent front running sort who could well take advantage.

Back in the morning just before 8.30 am.

BOL (Best Of Luck!) with any of your betting selections today.

Gary

  1. I have been backing horses(and laying horses) for over 50 years. However, i think my time as a backer of horses is coming to an end. Bookmakers restrictions,Bog’s ending and in general the poor racing and the influence of the powerful make the punting side unpalatable for me. My main bets now are lay bets on horse racing and golf bets. ABW is the only win bet i now use on horse racing.
This service is a very genuine one and it’s prices are very good. Please be careful if you are thinking of subscribing to firms like Cotswold, Snowy, Cleeve and many others. There prices are very high and the profit they make hardly covers their costs imo. If they have a good run it will not be long before the bookies either shut you down or restrict you. The exchanges are the only place you can get money on consistently. However, that side of the game is where the real shrewdies operate so take care with it. The place side of exchanges is very poor imo.
A gloomy post i am afraid and add to that my main team heading for the trap door with no centre halfs fit and an ever growing injury list. The millers and the clarets will find it hard to stay up this season i am afraid.

  2. Boooom!

  3. Well done Gary 👏 another winner, also I would like to reiterate Ian’s comments earlier, this really is a genuine and profitable service long may it continue!

  4. Great selection Gary. Many thanks. Helped to increase my account with Fred.

  5. Thank you Gary

  6. Thanks for the positive comments peeps. A tough old season so far. I think Ian Rod maybe passing up the kitty litter at the expense of following the Miller’s 😉. We’ll both be fine Ian
