Horse Racing Selections – 17th September 2021

Day 2 of the Ayr Festival to round the working week off.

There’s also a card at Kempton under the lights for those looking on the dirt already. There’s a late one from there to give the bed wetters a short nights sleep 🙂

Would be nice to improve a couple of slots on yesterday’s 5th and 6th to get some returns on these enhanced paying placed races. A rare three timer from me and selections for today are below.

Back in the morning just before 9.00 am

For those on the new 2021/22 £1k to £10k Annual Challenge, the bank is £1018.19 and current full stakes, unless advised, £13.06 EW

The 2021 Turf bank currently stands at +39.26 pts to 1pt EW stakes with over a 37% win/place rate.

The 2020/21 All Weather bank ended at +144 pts to 1pt EW stakes with over a 39% win/place rate.

  1. Gary, there is no write up for the middle selection that I can see

  2. Have just realised I over typed my Flying Moon Notes and is a selection in the 17.00 – will re write

  3. Did something happen with Ventura Express my untrained horse eyes didn’t see. I mean from what I can see LTO it was the second fastest speed rated horses in this field and the average seems to be top 4, so finishing 21/22 is a bit of a surprise from its numbers, what have I missed in running?

(not being critical here, genuinely trying to improve my understanding of the game)

  4. obviously wasn’t “off” today Chris….one chance left at 8.30 to get our money back!!

  5. Real bad run of all

  6. We are surely all becoming bed wetting professionals….. i think if i get some fog platting lessons i will do very well at it!!!!!
