A sole race meeting from Pontefract today with the Class 1 EBF Stallions Highfield Farm Flying Fillies’ Stakes sprint being their feature (15.30).

Not one for us but one of the stand outs is Silvestre de Sousa’s outstanding record here – he’s a near 25% strike rate and rides David O’Meara’s Perfection in this one. He’s one of a pair of 4yo’s up against the youngsters, coming in on the back of a sound neck second in the  Group 3 Oak Tree Stakes at Goodwood.  Back in listed C1 company he looks a solid wipes yer face EW priced 4/1.

We’ve got just one from Ponty this afternoon and there’s also a great week to look forward to with York’s Ebor meet on the Knavesmire.

 

For those on the £1k to £10k challenge….it’s a 38% win/place strike rate and our bank is now £1033.37 with current stakes £12.91
