Horse Racing Selections – 19th October 2020
The new week kicks off with the last flat meeting of the season at Pontefract. There’s a further meeting at Windsor backed up with action in the all weather at Wolves later.
Last season we had a nice winner with Our Little Pony at the very same meet who goes again in the (16.20). Not the 9’s we had about her last year with just about wipes yer face 9/2’s at press. Nonetheless, she’s just 3 above that winning mark, that hasn’t altered all season. LTO ran a decent race at Redcar from an adverse draw and should be thereabouts.
However, we’ve built our raison d’etre on backing value and will continue in that mode today.
I also had to smile this weekend, despite our poor October form, one member said he would be suspending his membership until March as he didn’t fancy the racing on the ‘cat litter’ 🙂 Not a term I have heard before, though hopefully we will knock some winner out soon……tonight would be good!!!!!

AW is just not working out yet…why not go back to the grass flat meetings?
Nothing wrong with today’s selection, the disappointment was the less than adequate ride by the jockey.
5 days selection all ended in lost. Not good at all.
Hi Tammi, indeed, not a good spell. At the odds we play there’s inevitably losing runs but the long term proves we win out. I think if you check back through our results we had a 30 losing run in June yet still recovered to +150 pts 🙂
There’s a distinct lack of grass about at the moment. Don’t like to bemoan the luck and make excuses but from a perfect draw this horse has performed admirably when run prominently
