Horse Racing Selections – 18th September 2020

It’s the second day of the Ayr Festival, plus Catterick and Newbury going with three handicaps of note that we tackle.

Yesterday saw us get back to winning ways with another Tim Easterby winner, TRUE BLUE MOON. I’m glad that most of you got 14’s and some even 16’s. It was a bit of ‘squeaky bum time’ as Duran Fentiman just prevailed after setting sail in David ‘Allanesque mode’ 🙂 I must admit was a tad more worried once he’d gone in on the race prior as well at 33’s!

Back to today’s cards, at Catterick there’s a couple of trackers out in the (16.05). That’s Roger Fell’s Tadaawol and Michael Dods trained Aliento. Both are disputing favouritism and preference would be for the former. We had a snifter at him early season, but it’s noteworthy all his wins have come when he’s been well fancied in terms of low SP’s, and it’s the same today.

In the (16.40), Ron Thompsons Mr Stutter is a past shining star for us, but again only lumping prices in this one though should go very close under Franny Norton.

We’ve a couple of suggestions below ahead of the weekend’s cards and let’s look to build on yesterday’s nice winner.
