Yesterday proved another frustrating day with two long priced efforts that filled the frame and after all that – a +1.13 profit on the month LOL!!!!

It could have been so much better with a couple of conversions from those 6 places from 9 bets since our last winner, King Athelstan. Still, hopefully we are on the money with our rationale and another decent priced winner is just around the corner? It could be famous last words in this game and go on a 20+ losing streak!!!!

Back to matters today, there’s a single meeting from Southwell from lunchtime today.

In the opener (12.10), it looks to be between two recent trackers, who have been made up 2nd favourites behind the Fahey charge, Jazz Hands.

Chelsea Banham’s Makambe & Mick Appleby’s Forseti. The former chased home the impressive Silverturnsgold on the penultimate run and backed that up when 3rd in a C4. She seems to have gotten the ex-Charlie Hills inmate on an even keel and the 4yo could still have a bit more improvement having been competitive off 76 for the former trainer. Mick Appleby’s charge seems more comfortable in races under 10 runners and gets that today and would be the choice of the pairing for those tackling lumpers today with his ‘off the rails draw’?
