A midweek card on the turf from Catterick Bridge.

A couple of ‘decent looking ‘ Class 6’s for the moose chasers 🙂

Both on at double digit odds, hopefully a nice return somewhere.

  1. Hi Gary, great run lately thank you. Belated response to your Q the other day i wouldn’t say that your new Manager is very popular with CCFC! Mark Robins very upset with how Kompany has conducted himself re Callum O’Hare. Allegedly its still a possible signing for you. Brilliant player, although he needs to score more goals. The most fouled player in Champ last season. He doesnt want to leave, very happy with us, but our Owners, who i detest will sell their own Granny for 10 p. We shall see. 🙂

    • Let’s see I am not so sure. We have Cullen in there now who is a breaker upper, Best

      Gary

  2. I think we would be better having a football forum which is fine by me. Not many want to talk about horse racing on here. ……. Is the ice cream man leaving Burnley Gary?. Cornet would be very good for you in this division. CCFC have one of our old managers in Robins as their manager. A very astute man but the only time i met him i felt he needed a personality transplant. He made John Major look colourful. However, wherever he has gone he has done ok. Left us to go to the Dingles so went down in my estimation. As i have said before Raymond, football club owners in the main are either shifting dirty money or a plaything of the rich. Very few have the interests of the working class supporters of the club at heart. I think CCFC will do well to finish in the top fifteen this season and Kompany has to get the clarets in the the top six or he has failed. As for RUFC i might have to adjust my points tally to around fifteen as we are getting lots of injuries and no sign of players coming in.

    • People don’t want to talk about racing in general these days mainly because it’s low grade drivel most of the time and very dull.

      • You aren’t wrong. Too many meetings, not enough runners.
Betting public aren’t going to turn up to 5 and 6 runner meets. Going down the pipes 😩

    • I would love him too stay. He has an exemplary attitude and straight back full throttle training. Unlike Weghorst and Collins who failed to materialise. I do fear that if someone activates the 17m release clause he will have to go even though he wants to stay. His wages will be more than double anyone else’s and I think the club will be open to offers. It maybe no coincidence that he has travelled with Burnley to Portugal for their training camp. They play Newcastle on Saturday who are probably one of a few who could pay that. Having said that they struggled to stump up the money for Chris Wood 😩

  3. Chris Wood did well for Leeds and Burnley, but to get 25m for him meant christmas had come early…… I really thought Quercus had put another 12/1 winner in the bag for us. The other horse possibly wanted it more but still another great selection.

  4. Two superb selections today Gary. One losing by a nose and the other losing by two necks. That doesn’t tell half the story. Quercus is a typical moose and possibly just ducked the issue(might be a bit harsh that).Mr Strutter was held up on the inside and thus was a hostage to fate and luck. He had neither today imo. Going well around the two pole Eaves wanted to go on the outside of Mollies Hope. Mollies held her position long enough to stop us getting around her. We then went for the inside but on a dog track like Catterick it never quite opened up enough for her to reel in the winner. An unlucky loser imo and so near to a big winning double. You are reading Moose’ well Gary. Long may it continue.

  5. Well done Gary. Two good places and e/w double paid handsomely. Sorry that I have nothing to add about football 🙄 but very happy to follow your moose tips. Cheers!
