Horse Racing Selections – 21st February 2022

An opening week meeting on all-weather back up at Newcastle.

Possibly another uncertain to go ahead with the latest blowing Hooley, Franklin, charging across the country 🙁 No doubt will lose a few runners today with transit issues? The (19.00) has just gone a 7 runner with Jungle Speed defecting. Shame about that with Athollblair Boy going in that looking well in off the back of recent efforts.

That left just a double handful for the 6f (18.30). However, Lincoln Gamble has just n/r’d. There’s one for that one if the meeting is on.

  1. Franklin is expected to have blown out by early afternoon with just a breeze tonight. Unless there is structural damage or problems with surrounding areas i would expect the meeting at Newcastle to go ahead… signs of recovery Gary recently so let us hope we are soon on the scoreboard. One who definitely is in form is the free golf tipster in the Sporting Life, Ben Coley. He was on the winner of the Genesis, Joaquin Niemann, 1 pt e/w at 66/1. He also tipped the second Morikawa. He is over 100pts up in 2022, made 692 pts in 2021 and 363 pts in 2020. These are free tips. Tipping at the prices he tips at and the amount of runners in golf he is forced to have some lengthy losing runs. These last three years have been mega and i can only praise his ability and quality of information. Portolios are a bit like marmite to punters. I love the portfolio way and atm Coley and Post racing are bringing home the goods whilst Gary is struggling and Snowy is just about level this month. I’ve had a good week with my own selections and had a good win with the Morgan three yesterday. Swings and roundabouts.Enjoy this great sport and patience is still the key imo. Good luck everybody today.

    • Personally I have Snowy down -35pts this month. This week I have got involved in Inform racing selections on one of Ian’s systems he is now posting to members daily which is currently 10/10 losses; although I understand it to be a W/O system, it looks like they’re generally finishing in places (just waiting for the luck to turn). Another system in Inform is tracking a small profit in feb tho.

Lets hope for some winners all around and finish this last week in the green! I do accept its a Marathon and not a sprint, but nothing more satisfying that taking a green month every month from those bookies

      • Chris,Which inform systems are you following.

          Save_Back_Chs_Hcps
          Back_Master_Chs_2Mile+

And Ian has posted on the notice board. Those systems flunked in Jun-Nov when I started. So I tentatively monitored. Dec was ok, Jan was better, Feb is ok so far

  2. I have been following the trainers and jockeys, but i will check out those that you have posted

  3. Theres another list May-Oct that I use Back_Flt_Turf_Avg the 5 systems with a percentage staking. Failed misreably last year, 4 month negative run – but smaller bank lower stakes, this time its a bit better

    • Have you compiled any of your own systems

      • Narr I haven’t, I was learning to trade the football, but I am crap at that too! So I haven’t done much with it as I don’t really know the basics of racing – My pal in work was explaining to me the different surfaces the other day, so I figure there is a lot more to it that just picking Handicaps and top 3 LTO 🤣.

I figured I will try and learn on the job, but literally bought Inform for the systems that was provided in a challenge, that of course went wrong..
