  1. Gary goes for three selections and one of them a rare 1pt bet.We are now well into the turf flat season and Gary is showing signs of getting into the ears of the moose (dropped elks). A very steady 10pts profit up to just with quite a few placed efforts. I am not a fan of flat racing but wouldn’t touch summer jumps with a barge pole. I pull up stumps after Aintree and restart on Badger Ales day. Not bothered if i miss winners as they are as unpredictable as the moose who run on the cat litter in the winter.
Gary has tipped up the veteran Copper Knight. According to Turftrax he is drawn on the wrong side as they believe the low drawn is where the fastest ground is. We shall see.One point bet on Bonus, so he must fancy him. I am a little more confident going forward and will keep ABW in the portfolio for at least another month( cut throat game this)
Now to the real events of the weekend. Can the Clarets beat the canny men of Newcastle (should that be Saudi). If Newcastle turn up i fear the worst. However, Leeds have to go to Brentford and i believe it is the same scenario. If Brentford turn up i think they will do Leeds. If Burnley go down Gary i will welcome you with open arms to Rotherham and buy you a few pints. That offer will still be on even if the moose have deserted you. Surely a club that has produced such lovely footballers like, Frank Casper Leighton James, Bryan Flynn, Alex Elder,Bryan Miller and Ralph Coates to name but a few can finish in front of dirty Leeds. UTC.

    • Nice one Uan. Hopefully I can return the favour in 2 years with us both in the Prem 😀 where’s Billy Mercer in that list as a great goalkeeping coach?

  2. Billy Mercer was a steady keeper and never let anybody down. He appears to be a much better coach.Very sorry to see he left along with Dyche. I forgot probably Burnleys best ever player, John Connelly. He was a favourite of mine as a young lad in the early sixties.
