……..well at least we were beaten by a veteran on her 14th run and not a 3yo :)…..Andrew Mullen looked to go off a bit hard on ours, will give him the benefit of his experience over mine LOL…he serves us well on the AW……..
Beverley 15.15 Nigel Tinkler’s NOT ON YOU NELLIE looks to be a 3yo that can progress further. Back in June on seasonal turf debut, ran up 4th here under claimer Izzy Clifton on troubled run. A decent run at Catterick followed and scored next time out at Ripon picking up nicely to win a shade cosily by a going away head. Her only poor showing was LTO on going easier than liked and back on a quicker surface should resume some progress. She looks to be closely matched with the veteran Royal Brave, albeit on an AW run at Gosforth Park and that one is well fancied in the market today on his 3rd LTO to Economic Crisis who won again in our race yesterday 🙁 Faye McManoman is the pilot, fresh from her success at Ayr on Roundhay Park for the stable. She may have to come from just off the pace in this one, but she has proved her expertise with that timing for us in the past on Lol Mullaney charges. Nonetheless, it’s a C6 and will half stake again on the challenge with a big 16/1 with bet365 and regulation FOUR slots.
