Horse Racing Selections – 24th February 2021

It’s Southwell and Kempton on the all-weather for Wednesday.

Looking at past backed charges, at the former (15.15) we have had a nibble about Red Allure. However, 2 from 30 sums up her career to date and little value off 7/2. Lisa Williamson seems keen to take this with 3 of the eight runners with Red Stripes showing better form of late and chucked in on last years antics at around 9/2 for those EW lumping acca’s.

We have one from each venue today in the members below.

Back in the morning around 8.30am.

For those on the £1k to £10k Annual Challenge, its currently over a 39% win/place rate and our bank is £8320.55 with an ROI of over 750% and current stakes £104.01 EW

  1. Do you still recommend betting each way with only 2 places now available on Puchita ? Can get 3 places on Betfair exchange, but very poor odds at the moment.

  2. Imo it is all about decision making and what you are comfortable with Steve….. I backed the horse at 6/1 i/4 odds 1.2……. you could back it straight win but with an odds on shot in the race i think that is for the very brave. At the moment on betfair they are offering to 4 places but with the odds at 1.03 which is no good to anybody. However on the sportsbook you can get 5/1 and 1/2 for 3 places. A £20 win on 5/1 returns £120 and an £80 place at 1/2 returns £120. So if you can get it to finish in the first 3 you win at least £20. A very conservative bet but a profit. As i say all about decision making.

  3. didn’t matter in the end!! lol both disappointing today

  4. I was just comparing my tracker with the results so far (I just missed that big winner in Feb so not good news for me hah) and the tracker pretty much matches the same period ROI with the 10k challenge sheet. However, there seems to be a bit of a discrepancy with the AW 2020-21 sheet. One of the placed horses seems to be in there twice, so I just thought I’d give you the heads up in case you hadn’t spotted it.
