Horse Racing Selections – 26th September 2020
Saturday’s cards come form Haydock, Ripon and Newmarket.
The Cambridgeshire is the feature from HQ run over the 9f. Rather bizarrely it doesn’t feature a single of our trackers who could possibly step up from a C3.
At Haydock, previous winner Just Hiss runs in the C2 Close Brother Handicap (14.05). Despite being out of the handicap should be capable of being competitive in this. Our only other bit of interest for any of our trackers going there is Music Society going in the C3 (15.10). He unshipped Paul Mulrennan in the Bronze Cup at Ayr last week. Nonetheless, despite dropped in grade, aside from an Ayr win last term, seems to struggle above the 80’s mark and 7/2 is no value in this one.
We’ll look to Ripon’s card today, albeit at a reduced stake with some very average cards and fields for a Saturday. We’ve built the bank nicely so far and Musselburgh’s card looks more appealing tomorrow 🙂
