Horse Racing Selections – 27th August 2021
The week ends with Friday cards on the turf from Thirsk, Hamilton, Ffos Las, HQ & Goodwood.
Another poor showing yesterday from the selection 🙂 That means we have just over a month or so to wrestle back some profit into the challenge before turning focus to the AW.
Our big season winner that keeps us ahead on LSP Muatadel is out again at Thirsk (16.20). It’s a race for amateur jockeys with less than 3 wins in the calendar year that hardly inspires confidence. I know little about Miss Alex Garven except that the trainer used her on Buzz Lightyere finishing a hampered 7l back 7th/12. Nonetheless the horse still looks in form and well treated and will have a personal bit of shrapnel on that one at 16’s for one of those 4 places.
There’s a sole selection from Thirsk for this afternoon.
Back in the morning around just before 9.00 am.
For those on the new 2021/22 £1k to £10k Annual Challenge, the bank is £935.63 and current full stakes, unless advised, £11.70 EW
The 2021 Turf bank currently stands at +30.3 pts to 1pt EW stakes with over a 35% win/place rate.
The 2020/21 All Weather bank ended at +144 pts to 1pt EW stakes with over a 39% win/place rate.
