Horse Racing Selections – 29th August 2021

Sunday racing on the turf from Beverley, Yarmouth & Goodwood.

A welcome Beverley winner with Ventura Flame yesterday brought us back positive on the challenge. Obviously need to build on that….hopefully starting today 🙂

There’s more decent looking handicaps at Beverley today where incidentally, yesterday’s proposed shrapnel bet Newgate Angel who went a non runner, is declared again this afternoon (17.20). Hardly the 50’s on offer today in just a 9 runner tho’ but obviously of interest to those of you who go on 3 times with selections:)

At Yarmouth, AW specialist Engrave goes in the Ams (13.30). Only a 2 paying slot race but Sam Fielden knows him well and not a forlorn hope. Again, there’s two suggestions for today.

It’s a Bank Holiday Monday tomorrow. With three cards to consider, will be back in the morning just before 9.00 am.

For those on the new 2021/22 £1k to £10k Annual Challenge, the bank is £1025.86 and current full stakes, unless advised, £12.82 EW

The 2021 Turf bank currently stands at +37.1 pts to 1pt EW stakes with over a 35% win/place rate.

The 2020/21 All Weather bank ended at +144 pts to 1pt EW stakes with over a 39% win/place rate.
