Racing on the turf this Saturday comes from HQ, Ascot, Chester and Redcar.

It’s not looking a brilliant forecast, likely seeing a good few non-runners and spooked animals 🙂 With Chester’s card already lacking numbers, and the rains due to hit the east later, will look to Redcar for the turf selections.

Up there it’s the straight mile series final (16.45), and a race we have had the winner about with old favourite Give It Some Teddy. He’s been back to form since returning to the Easterby fold and he goes mob handed in this one. Duran Fentiman rides that one again who knows him well and sure to give it a good go of what looks like lumping prices this morning. Will leave that C2 alone and look at a lower grade handicap for today’s selection.

There’s also a suggestion at Wolves later this evening on the All Weather.

With no racing tomorrow, will be back on Monday morning  just before 8.30 am

For those on the new 2021/22 £1k to £10k Annual Challenge, the bank is £1114.52 and current full stakes, unless advised, £13.93 EW

The 2021 Turf bank currently stands at +65.36 pts to 1pt EW stakes with over a 36% win/place rate. 

The 2020/21 All Weather bank ended at +144 pts to 1pt EW stakes with over a 39% win/place rate.
