Horse Racing Selections – 31st January 2021

An all-weather card for Sunday from Dunstall Park Wolves.

A slight loss on yesterday with Central City’s 3rd place easing some of the losses from Famous Dynasty’s run out wide. After a roller coaster month it brings us right back to where we started at the end of December on 87 pts LSP, though £1k down on the challenge at £7.7k. Expected at some stage but never good to take when it arrives.

Nonetheless despite a few grumbles in the ranks from newbies, we are in good shape since June with 137pts added on the turf and 87pts for the AW. I would expect most of you have a portfolio of services smoothing out losing runs?

We have a couple of months to go before the end of the AW so let’s look to get some more profit in the bank before we re-set the £10k challenge in March 🙂

Today’s notes are below and back in the morning around 9.00am.

For those on the £1k to £10k Annual Challenge, its currently over a 40% win/place rate and our bank is £7757.21 with an ROI of over 700% and current stakes £96.97 EW

Today’s member’s notes are below….

Stay safe!

  1. Yes I’m sure we’re all used to losing runs, and our portfolios will reveal such losses which can be absorbed by the wins. Nevertheless it’s important to point out that a losing run of 24 – the biggest we have experienced – is going to cause concern and frustration and put a little bit of pressure on finding the next couple of winners! I’m sure we will bounce back if past performance over the past 12 months is anything to go by.
