Horse Racing Selections – 4th February 2021

Thursday’s all weather fixtures come from Southwell on the afternoon and then under the lights at Chelmsford.

At the latter, last weeks withdrawn ‘steamer’ Captain Pugwash goes in the (18.00). That’s just a two paying place 7 runner and maybe best watched with the likes of a few solid performers like Channel Packet lining up

It was back to winning ways yesterday 🙂 with a nice little drifter with Hollie Doyle up top of BEAUTY STONE. Tom Ward’s charge went off at 14’s from the advised 12’s and got up at the death. Must admit there was a few choice words in the air prior with that Simon Pearce double at Lingfield that had been in the mornings jottings 🙁 Can’t be greedy as we get movin north again.

Today’s notes are below and back in the morning with Lingfield & Newcastle around 8.00am.

For those on the £1k to £10k Annual Challenge, its currently over a 39% win/place rate and our bank is £8555.62 with an ROI of over 750% and current stakes £105.70 EW

  1. Can’t find better than 8/1 at William Hill, 365, bet victor, paddy power, coral, Ladbrokes or sky bet so not sure where the plenty of 10’s are?

  2. More like 5’s now 🙁

  3. Managed 8’s BOG with BF at 8:38.
Think yesterday’s winner has them running scared, unless coincidence.

  4. You might have hit on something about yesterday’s winner Nick. I got an e/mail from Josh wright yesterday offering me a trial of a service that is x amounts of points up since June but is currently on a poor run. It went on to say they were tipping a 12/1 shot and now might be the time to join this excellent service. You guessed it. It was to join ABW for a fiver for a trial month…… I have nothing against this as it was the way i got onto ABW. However, a whole lot of new punters will have joined and the early prices will be under pressure for a while. My advice get on early.
