There’s flat racing from Ayr, Nottingham, Ripon & Windsor to open the week.
Nothing of note from Nottingham but there’s interest at all the other tracks. Looking at lumpers. Mike Smith’s stable is a yard steadily coming to form. Has run his charges away from his usual haunts of Ayr, Musselburgh and Hamilton but always worthy of note when returning.
Yesterday, Royal Countess did it for him and Flying Moon going in the (15.55) could well be his best lumper today.
Back in the morning around 8.30am.
For those on the new 2021/22 £1k to £10k Annual Challenge, the bank is £1277.44 and current full stakes, unless advised, £15.97 EW
The 2021 Turf bank currently stands at +75.5 pts to 1pt EW stakes with over a 43% win/place rate.
The 2020/21 All Weather bank ended at +144 pts to 1pt EW stakes with over a 39% win/place rate.

Kevin, Again 10/1 was only available up to 7.16am when Molly Shaw was withdrawn with a 25p Rule 4. So anyone with 10/1 is on at 15/2 now. Unfortunately the advised odds are regularly unavailable on here and I only note the odds I actually obtain for purposes of calculating profit.

Comments noted but as I said last week, after agreement with everyone to get a common consistency, I would allow the blog to publish at 8.30 when I place my bets. I was scribing this between 5.30 and 7 this morning.Perhaps I should go back in to edit but doing the school run affords me little time around that slot. Agreed, 17/2 is the price I took and will be recorded about Red Bravo as will be the 25% R4,
