Horse Racing Selections – 6th August 2022

There’s Saturday’s racecards from Redcar, Ayr, HQ, Ascot & Haydock

It’s a sole selection from the mile series at the former today.

There’s a decent looking Haydock card on Sunday so may find a couple from there tomorrow.

  1. Looks to be drifting a tad this morning

  2. Yep, I’m on at 16/1.

The each way stakes in the intro notes are interesting 🤔😂

  3. Definitely a drifter which has not been the case recently………… What is going on at the Ricoh John (Raymond Unitt), a pitch inspection tonight at 18:00 hrs. Has Gary had the moose grazing on the pitch?.The moose will play more on the floor than we will that’s a certainty.

  4. Ian, selfish greedy owners and irresponsibility in allowing Leather Egg 7 s for the Commonwealth games. Robins is very unhappy. sooner bloody S(HIT)SU are gone the better. wonder what 6 pm will bring? John

  5. I have just seen photos of the pitch John. Very little grass in places. No way was this done by a few rugby sevens games. People are saying there was a concert on it recently and the pitch was in poor condition at the end of last rugby season (May). Poor preparation imo and although we don’t need a good surface to play on (hoof ball) our pitch got rave reviews from the teams who used it in the women’s Euros and got a five star rating. I will still blame the moose for grazing on it because that is what your pitch looks like…….. I have to feel a bit sorry for my brother and his sons and partners. Six train tickets booked for today with very little chance of a refund. Any suggestion for where to go on a day out in Coventry.
