Thursday’s turf racing comes from up at Ayr. There’s also a supporting All Weather meet at Chelmsford.

At Ayr, last weeks winner Big Les is out again (15.15). Won well here travelling very well in that race and appeared to win with ease. Hasn’t been out of the slots with 2 wins and a place when the going has had soft in the title as again today. Lumping odds only and will passover on that one having had that nice price LTO.

A ‘wipes yer face day’ on the the AW yesterday with Sanaadh running in 3rd under Richard Kingscote. At Chelmsford John Quinn has Rebel Redemption going back out for a quick follow up to last weeks win (18.00). Looked to win that one comfortably enough but at short odds also gets a poor draw. With Araifjan landing the box 1 slot that one looks to take all the beating.

There’s one from Ayr today and also another of note from Chelmsford this evening as we drip in the AW selections.

It’s York’s October Finale Meet starting tomorrow, so will be back in the morning again just before 8.30 am

 

For those on the new 2021/22 £1k to £10k Annual Challenge, the bank is £1108.50 and current full stakes, unless advised, £13.86 EW

The 2021 Turf bank currently stands at +64.66 pts to 1pt EW stakes with over a 36% win/place rate. 

The 2020/21 All Weather bank ended at +144 pts to 1pt EW stakes with over a 39% win/place rate.
