Haydock’s second day is prevalent with 3 year olds with just the (15.50) 7 furlong race on the radar.

Looking at this one, many of these are 6f types and on the face of it getting a run under their belt. Nigel Tinkler’s Roundhaye Park is one we have been waiting to get to around the late 70’s mark, but at around the 5f mark – and was last seen out when finishing behind our October winner, Our Little Pony at Ponty.

More promising looks the Fahey pairing of Right Action and Zip. The former won first time out last year whilst the latter does look a genuine 7f type and as a 4yo, still some progression on around wipes yer face 11/2.

There’s more for consideration at the last day of the meeting and we’ll be back in the  morning around 8.00am.
