Yesterday’s selection is quickly re-routed and comments as per yesterday.

It’s been a slightly disappointing return for Theodore Ladd this season as we’d really expected to kick on from his AW apprentices title. However, Mick Appleby’s stable apprentice is still one to note at the sprint trips and gets back up top of a previous winning charge this afternoon.

EPONINA won under him on seasonal debut at Chester over the 8f in Class 4, and indeed all his wins have come at this trip.

His last 3 runs have seen improving RPR’s back to that winning mark and is just 3lb higher than when scoring on soft going in that Chester race in June. He also ran very well at Thirsk LTO as runner up to Mick Easterby’s Harvest Day so should be near the premises in this one.

Hopefully, he will have the edge on Monday’s selected non-runner, Make Me who gets the assistance of a certain Mr Sullevan up top.

We’ll back the young pretender Mr Ladd to come out on top and there’s a best 11/2 with Betfair that we’ll take this morning at a track where Appleby excels.

Brain Smart’s HELOVAPLAN has been lightly raced and the course winner was last seen out contesting a C2 at Ripon and beaten just 3 lengths.

He has previous here (3-3-1) and today’s pilot Graham Lee knows him well being up top on all those occasions with a 30% strike rate in this grade.

The trainer is flying at the moment with his last 3 AW entries coming out with a winner and two places and his turf entries hitting over a 30% placement.

With Simon Crisord and Robert Havlin having such a good strike rate at the track, the favourite Alnadir injects a bit of value down the market and that one has to overcome the tumble at Chelmsford LTO?

There’s a best 10/1 with Coral and FOUR paying slots that we’ll take this morning.
