ICE AGE was a progressive type last year winning four times, including the Bold Lad Sprint at the Curragh last September of 96. He came back to action at Donny on bottomless going finishing third in the Listed Cammidge Trophy last month.
EJ-H is already targeting the Wokingham with him and he’s one of those who is so quickly up into stride and appreciates all ground types that you know you are going to get a decent run out of him…..take the best 11/1 with Betfair.

We missed out with Jedd’s Whitkirk on seasonal debut that was a tad gutting. He’s top of the pile and though that last run looked to have a bit in hand it will be a big ask off top weight. The Dalgleish camp come in with the very well handicapped Jacob Black and old Crazy plus Cliffe Bay who we will be watching for future punts.
However, Karen McLintocks’s ROCKWOOD shows his best form on this going and gets the assist of a decent 5lb claimer Jamie Gormley this evening. He’s not had a good AW campaign but he’s obviously better with a ‘rattle underfoot’. He’s won off 74 and pops up her on a lowly 64….she usually has him to hand early and won in May last year so we’ll take the best 8/1 across the board at press.
