Jordan Electrics wins….advised @ 7/1

After drawing a blank yesterday, we got back to winning ways as JORDAN ELECTRICS won at Ayr on 2nd run for Alistair Whillans. Ben Robinson did a pillar to post and landed at an SP of 5/1. Most of you managed the early 7/1 with some even managing a bit of 15/2 at 8.00am.

It was a bit of a yo-yo week last week but with just over 50 bets completed since racing resumed in June, now have 10 winners in the bank and a near 50pts profit to 1pt EW stakes.

Our other bets on a rare 3 selection day saw Pearl Of Qatar place at wipes yer face prices, though a disappointing run from Lagenda under Danny Tudhope to finish the afternoon.

Let’s look to crack on and see if there’s anything noteworthy at Chepstow or Sandown tomorrow?

For those on the £1k to £10k seasonal challenge its currently over a 42% win/place rate and our bank is £1662.40 with an ROI of over 45% and current stakes £20.78 EW

Today’s Selections

Ayr 13.50

We backed PEARL OF QATAR last time out who bumped into the in-form Ey Up It’s Mick who landed back to back races.

Nonetheless this was a second decent showing after being noted behind our winner Gullane One.

She may have hit the front a tad early a week last Sunday, but the drop back to a C6 should be a positive. She’s steadily improved since coming in from Brian Ellison’s yard and gets a slightly favoured high drawn in this one.

It’s a wipes yer face best 6’s across the book for our opening  selection.

Ayr 13.50 – Pearl Of Qatar

Ayr 14.20

Again we’ll oppose the 3yo’s in this 2nd division of the race as we have another couple of trackers going.

Amanda Perratt has Laoise lining up who is a maiden we will note with interest who showed best run to date LTO since coming in from Richard Hannon. She should win something low grade like this but goes from out of the handicap today and will look for evidence of further improvement with the yard not firing at all.

Our other tracker is more solid in the form of JORDAN ELECTRICS.

He’s recently moved yards, coincidentally from Amanda Perratt, and LTO at Hamilton ran a decent race on debut for Alistair Whillans. He’s won twice off this mark and this was a decent showing from the wrong side of the track as it turned out.

That was a sharpener over the 5f , but more at home over the 6 where he had two good outings in C5 and C4 respectively in July last term. In the first, he beat one of our AW winners, Epeius home (runs in above Div 1) and followed that up running Nigel Tinkler’s Firm Decisions 3/4l  second.

If he backs up his LTO run and hopefully the change of scenery has done him good, looks a sound EW shout on at best 15/2 but solid 7’s to record elsewhere readily available.

Ayr 14.20 – Jordan Electrics

Ayr 15.20

I’m not going to desert LAGENDA in his follow up attempt under Danny Tudhope with a wipes yer face price on offer.

His only poor run this season was under Rachel Richardson in what now looked a prep race for the LTO win behind the stables other charge, How Bizarre.

He showed revitalised form from late last season and now on the same 58 mark as when landing the double under Jason Hart

We’re looking for a repeat today and make a play in this one with a best 5/1 with SkyBet and FOUR slots.

Ayr 15.20 – Lagenda
