A nice start to the month with Paul Midgley’s LEODIS DREAM making all price under David Nolan.

‘Never in any doubt’ said Victor! However, certainly gave me squeaky bum time with that Tim Easterby 3yo Glendown chasing him down to a nose 🙂

 

For those on the  2022/23 £1k to £10k Annual Challenge, the bank stands at £1486.77 with current full stakes at £18.58 EW with over a 41% win/place rate. 

The 2023 Turf bank stands at +42.7 pts to 1pt EW stakes with over a 41% win/place rate.

None of these boast more than one win in the last year.

Form horse of late is John Kirkup back out quickly after another close effort this week at Catterick. He drops to the minimum trip today but may not find this wide draw ideal?

Opting with one who should get away smartly from a mid draw in LEODIS DREAM.

1 of 4 going for The Midgmeister hasn’t showed much in place form to date this season. Those have come in a variety of C3 & 4 including the jump jockeys’ Nunthorpe.

However has faired well overall in big field handicaps and did show more like when just a length down on the AW last week at Wolves.

His later season form of the past has been encouraging on the whole and gets David Nolan back up on top (10-4-6)  He was last winning pilot from 8 higher at Ripon making all from another tracker of ours Catch Cunningham.

It’s an enhanced 12’s with 4 slots this morning.
