Melody King wins….advised @ 13/2

A welcome winner with John Quinn’s MELODY KING.

Harrison Shaw came out tops after battling back to beat Soul Seeker by a neck at the line 🙂

After a placed effort with our opening charge Tangled was hoping for at least an EW treble. However, Lezardrieux failed to deliver again beating nothing home 🙁

For those on the new 2022/23 £1k to £10k Annual Challenge, the bank is at £1863.31 with current full stakes at £23.23 EW with over a 45% win/place rate.

Today’s Selections

Beverley 15.10

Seasoned sorts going H2H here in this 6f sprint.

James Watt respected down a couple of grades from last outing but no significant form as such.

With Jason Hart on duty for John Quinn at Goodwood, Harrison Shaw comes in for the ride on MELODY KING.

Not noted for rides with the yard, he does goes in at over 15% in the sprints 🙂

Melody King has shown best in the later months and initially noted at Beverley in June when we backed a place with Lost My Sock.

Came home 4th on quicker than ideal but back on good today, his 3 wins have all come on easier going, and right in the middle of those last winning marks now.

Aside from handicap debut, all his wins/places have come from August onwards.

Has avoided a high draw today and can race just off the pace of those just drawn on his inside with the well fancied Late Arrival likely to be up there.

There’s 13/2 to record with regulation 3 paying places.

Beverley 15.10 – Melody King (Full Stakes Challenge) – Won advised 13/2
