MERRY SECRET continued our decent form of late.

Apologies that was heavily backed after publishing early. Was obviously well in on last years early season figures and yard form that was latched on to. Backed into 11/4 with that R4 impacted on returns.

Sean Kirrane had him handy and did interfere with rivals when making his challenge that went unpunished 🙂

 

For those on the new 2022/23 £1k to £10k Annual Challenge, the bank is at £2291.46 with current full stakes at £29.90 EW with over a 41% win/place rate. 

The 2022 Turf bank finished at  +72.89 pts to 1pt EW stakes with over a 43% win/place rate. 

The 2022/3 All-Weather bank stands at +28.02 pts to 1pt EW stakes with over a 38% win/place rate.

An open looking Class 6 and going to side with one we picked up on at this time last year before running in for us on the turf.

Lol Mullaney’s MERRY SECRET fired in a couple of consecutive placed efforts at the track off the back of a decent break last March

Hope this one will give it a go at a price with the trainers last 3 runners going 3-1-2.

Not prolific on the AW, last won for Mick Appleby off 61, however, outside of Gunnerside, is the only one with any decent C5 form.

A decent 7f sort should be racing prominently over this stiff uphill 6f. Hopefully can run one of those paying slots from 10lb below his runs here this time last year

There’s a best priced 9’s with regulation 3 paying places this morning at 7.00am time of publishing.
