Yesterday’s selection went a non-runner so it’s straight into the Monday of York’s Ebor week with meets at Leicester, Thirsk & Windsor with Timeform below for the initial of those meets.

At Thirsk, Kupa River who we had massive hopes for at the bringing of the season goes in the (15.20) – he’s become extremely well handicapped (in our opinion!) and today they take the route of dropping him to the minimum 5f trip, though not a whole load of value at 11/2 based on previous runnings…….we’ve just one for members in the notes below.

Sabai Sabai was ahead of no fewer than 4 next-time-out winners when fourth in a big-field maiden at Goodwood 19 days ago and there has to be a chance the assessor has let her in lightly on this nursery debut. Happy Odyssey and Kwela are feared most.

Dependable caught the eye on her third qualifying run at Windsor a fortnight ago, and representing a yard in terrific form, she is expected to take a leap forward. Point In Time and Floria Tosca are closely matched on their Newmarket clash, but The Last Debutante is feared most.

Firmdecisions paid the price for a big move into contention when behind Presidential at Redcar last week, but he did enough to think he’s in good nick and he’s certainly weighted to beat that rival this time. A bigger threat may emerge in the shape of Del Parco.
