1.30 Tim Vaughan Racing Supporting Ffos Las Handicap Hurdle (5) 2m5f192y

Timeform Top Rated:
111 7. COTTONVALE Christian Williams James Bowen
110 11. ARISTOCRACY John O’Shea Miss Brodie Hampson (5)
109§ 16. FILATORE Bernard Llewellyn Patrick Cowley (5)

Analyst’s Verdict:
Cottonvale was in front of a stablemate when falling at the last a fortnight ago and, given that rival has advertised the form since, he should make a very bold bid to gain compensation from 2 lb higher. Get Wishing is also in form and his talented conditional takes off a handy 5 lb, with course-regular Steel Native also considered.

2.05 Walters Group Novices’ Hurdle (Qualifier) (4) 1m7f182y

Timeform Top Rated:
137p 7. NORDIC COMBINED David Pipe Tom Scudamore
130 1. COLONEL CUSTARD Nicky Martin Tom O’Brien
117p 6. MUSICAL SLAVE Philip Hobbs Micheal Nolan

Analyst’s Verdict:
Nordic Combined has made a very solid start to his career over hurdles, and this looks a good opportunity to open his account. Musical Slave deserves a strong mention, though. He shaped well in a hot race at Exeter back from 13 months off and clearly has a good deal of potential. Colonel Custard is also respected under a penalty.

2.35 Prince Fluffy Kareem Novices’ Chase (4) 2m

Timeform Top Rated:
158p 3. WHATSWRONGWITHYOU Nicky Henderson Nico de Boinville
147p 2. THE LAST DAY Evan Williams Adam Wedge

Analyst’s Verdict:
Whatswrongwithyou made a promising start over fences at Haydock last month, early exuberance just telling in the closing stages, and he looks bound to improve and win races in this sphere. The Last Day is shaping up well as a chaser and his second at Exeter clearly didn’t get to the bottom of him.

3.05 Dai Rees Racing Handicap Hurdle (4) 2½m

Timeform Top Rated:
123 7. GONE PLATINUM David Rees Lorcan Williams (5)
121 13. BRIGADIER BOB Kerry Lee Richard Patrick (3)
120 3. CHIEF BRODY William Muir James Bowen

Analyst’s Verdict:
Gone Platinum goes off the same mark as when winning a handicap chase at Bangor last week and can quickly follow up. Chief Brody has some solid form and is respected up in trip. The returning Oskar’s Eva is another to note.

3.40 Iwec Electrical Mares’ Handicap Chase (4) 2m3f83y

Timeform Top Rated:
121 5. QUANTUM OF SOLACE Fergal O’Brien Paddy Brennan
119 6. GOODGIRLTERESA Kayley Woollacott Micheal Nolan
118 7. MRS BURBIDGE Neil Mulholland Robert Dunne

Analyst’s Verdict:
Quantum of Solace shaped very well back over fences when second at Huntingdon and remains unexposed in this sphere. Goodgirlteresa has taken well to fences and is potentially on a good mark given how she shaped last time, while Mrs Burbidge is on a handy mark on hurdles form.

4.15 Specsavers Llanelli Standard Open National Hunt Flat (5) 1m7f182y

Timeform Top Rated:
123 1. GET IN THE QUEUE Harry Fry Mr Michael Legg (5)
107 5. JELSKI Nigel Twiston-Davies Sam Twiston-Davies
106 9. POND ROAD Kim Bailey David Bass

Analyst’s Verdict:
Get In The Queue looked a good prospect when overcoming inexperience to make a winning debut at Uttoxeter and can defy a penalty. Jelski and Pond Road both shaped well on debut and can fill the places.
