1.00 Racing TV Free For A Month Juvenile Hurdle (4) 2m

Timeform Top Rated:
147p 10. LASKADINE Nicky Henderson Barry Geraghty
128 9. THE CROONER Venetia Williams Hugh Nugent (7)
107 1. BLACKFYRE Charlie Mann Harry Bannister

Analyst’s Verdict:
Despite there being quite a few runners this race appears to lack depth and it’ll be a major surprise if Laskadine doesn’t prove up to making a successful British debut. Fellow French recruit The Crooner could be the one to follow her home.

1.30 racingtv.com/freetrial Mares’ ‘National Hunt’ Novices’ Hurdle (4) 2m5f

Timeform Top Rated:
132p 2. YELLOW DOCKETS Nicky Henderson Nico de Boinville
131p 7. EXECUTIVE CAPILANO Dan Skelton Harry Skelton
129p 1. SHANTUNG Lucy Wadham Leighton Aspell

Analyst’s Verdict:
This intermediate trip could be just the ticket for Executive Capilano, who finished a country mile clear of the rest when chasing home a potentially useful type over 3m at Southwell. In receipt of weight from previous winners Yellow Dockets and Shantung, Dan Skelton’s charge is taken to go one better here.

2.05 Trial Racing TV For Free Now Handicap Chase (4) 3m1f100y

Timeform Top Rated:
134 5. ANGE DES MALBERAUX Dan Skelton Harry Skelton
132 12. MAYBE PLENTY Giles Smyly James Bowen
131 3. OPTIMISTIC BIAS James Evans Jonjo O’Neill Jr. (5)

Analyst’s Verdict:
Ange des Malberaux took his record to 4 from 6 for this yard at Market Rasen last month and remains one to keep on side. Muckle Roe has a good record here and is next best ahead of potential-improver Plus One.

2.40 Start Your Racingtv Free Trial Now Handicap Hurdle (3) 3¼m

Timeform Top Rated:
144 8. CAPTAIN CARGO Caroline Bailey Sean Bowen
143 6. DRIFTWOOD HAZE Phillip Dando Mitchell Bastyan (5)
142 4. OCEAN COVE Fergal O’Brien Paddy Brennan

Analyst’s Verdict:
There’s surely a good chance Captain Cargo has even more to offer and he’s taken to go one better than his C&D handicap debut second on New Year’s Eve. Ocean Cove, Oh Land Abloom and the returning Sir Will are also respected in a competitive heat.

3.10 Watch RacingTV With Free Trial Now Handicap Hurdle (4) 2m

Timeform Top Rated:
121p 8. PADDY THE CHEF Ian Williams Tom O’Brien
119 4. DYLIEV Caroline Bailey Sean Bowen
116 5. LARCH HILL Nigel Twiston-Davies Sam Twiston-Davies

Analyst’s Verdict:
A winner on the Flat at Nottingham last summer, Paddy The Chef is expected to step up on what he’s shown in a couple of juvenile hurdles now moving into handicap company. Indeed, his opening mark in this sphere may well turn out to be a lenient one and the 4-y-o gets the nod ahead of recent C&D winner Dyliev and the hat-trick seeking Darlyn.

3.45 Overbury Stud Willoughby de Broke Open Hunters’ Chase (6) 3m

Timeform Top Rated:
156 5. SHANTOU FLYER Richard Hobson Mr David Maxwell
142 3. MR MIX S. C. Robinson Mr Stuart Robinson (5)
141x 13. DOUBLE ROSS Nigel Twiston-Davies Mr Zac Baker

Analyst’s Verdict:
Shantou Flyer is a high-end recruit to this sphere given he finished runner-up in the Ultima Handicap at Cheltenham in March and he can cement his position towards the head of the Foxhunter Chase betting with victory here. This will be a good examination though, with Double Ross, Cousin Pete and Hazel Hill just 3 potential dangers.
