Leicester and Hamilton today with Timeform from the former – previous winner Jacob’s Pillow is back out at Hamilton (16.30) and is around wipes yer face 11/2 for a follow up and also at a similar price, Jason Hart on Framley Garth must have a sound chance in the (15.30) seen running on well at York LTO.

In the last at Hamilton (17.00), Compass Hill has been running well on the softer surfaces and was noted at Haydock very early in the season and shouldn’t be far away.

Today’s Selections

Leicester 15.50

If Leo Minor could replicate that earlier season run wouldn’t be far away but such was the impressive nature of Michael Dods CAMACHO CHIEF win LTO he’s difficult to oppose on a follow up with Paula Muir in the plate.

Well drawn in trap 4 the 3yo should have more improvement to come……we’ve taken the just better than wipes yer face price 6/1 with bet 365

Leicester 15.50 – Camacho Chief

Hamilton 16.30

Eric Alston is on fire at the moment and LYDIATE LADY with Rachel Richardson up top looks to have a decent chance. LTO at York wasn’t far adrift of Saaheq and beat the re-opposing Elysian Flyer at Ripon earlier this season off 70.

Now eased slightly to 68 and looks decent EW value – we’re looking for them to give us a nice follow up to the stables Redrosezorro on the weekend and taken the best priced 10’s this morning.

Hamilton 16.30 – Lydiate Lady

2.20 British Stallion Studs EBF Kegworth Novice Stakes (4) (D.I) 7f

Timeform Top Rated
99p 1. GLOBAL HERO Saeed bin Suroor Hector Crouch
92p 6. HOUSE OF KINGS Clive Cox William Buick
90p 10. CHICAGO DOLL Alan King Martin Harley

Analyst’s Verdict:
Global Hero created a good impression when winning at Salisbury on his debut and can make it 2-2 before having his sights raised. House of Kings has a bigger effort in his locker. Reeth and Glenn Miller are newcomers to note.

2.50 British Stallion Studs EBF Kegworth Novice Stakes (4) (D.II) 7f

Timeform Top Rated
94p 2. FARO ANGEL Luca Cumani Jamie Spencer
84 3. GOD HAS GIVEN Richard Hannon Rossa Ryan (3)
82p 4. HOLD STILL William Muir David Egan

Analyst’s Verdict:
Not a strong-looking 2-y-o race and Faro Angel is taken to build on a promising debut at Ascot and open his account. Past Glories and Legend Island are both newcomers to note.

3.20 Golden Hand Selling Stakes (5) 7f

Timeform Top Rated
93 9. LAMB CHOP Sylvester Kirk David Egan
92 6. THE LAMPLIGHTER George Baker Martin Harley
83 8. KODINA David Evans Gina Mangan (7)

Analyst’s Verdict:
Not many with strong appeal but Lamb Chop can have a good case made for her on her Chepstow handicap second last month and gets the vote. The Lamplighter has a similar profile, a frustrating maiden but with strong claims on his best efforts. Super Major, one of just a few winners in the field, may also have a say.

3.50 Racing UK Handicap (3) 5f

Timeform Top Rated
116 5. CAMACHO CHIEF Michael Dods Paula Muir (5)
114 7. MOVE IN TIME Paul Midgley Dougie Costello
112 2. DUKE OF FIRENZE David C. Griffiths Stevie Donohoe

Analyst’s Verdict:
The feature race on the card and a cracking sprint handicap. Camacho Chief won well under Paula Muir at Carlisle last month and likely has more to offer as a 3-y-o. He can go in again. Musselburgh-winner Royal Brave, Kick On Kick On and Major Pusey must all be considered.

4.20 Breeders Backing Racing EBF Novice Stakes (4) 1m3f179y

Timeform Top Rated
92p 5. OUTBOX Simon Crisford Jack Mitchell
87p 12. FOREST VIEW Saeed bin Suroor Hector Crouch
82p 14. LILYPAD James Fanshawe Daniel Muscutt

Analyst’s Verdict:
The fantastically-bred Outbox belied weakness in the betting when making an impressive winning debut at Ffos Las 3 weeks ago and can make it 2-2 with improvement surely forthcoming. Forest View likely has more to offer for Godolphin, while Celtic Chieftain should progress for Dean Ivory.

4.50 Aston Flamville Fillies’ Nursery Handicap (5) 6f

Timeform Top Rated
90p 6. GOLD ARROW Archie Watson Edward Greatrex
89 13. VENA D’AMORE Dean Ivory Martin Dwyer
86p 4. RAPTURE Richard Fahey Oakley Brown (7)

Analyst’s Verdict:
Gold Arrow’s gritty Brighton win is backed up by a reasonable time, and with further progress a distinct possibility, she looks to have been let in lightly for this nursery debut. The wellconnected Rapture almost certainly has a bigger performance in her and is feared most, with Cotubanama likely to put in another good shift.

5.20 Highfields Fillies’ Handicap (5) 1m53y

Timeform Top Rated
84 1. KYLLACHYS TALE Roger Teal Jack Mitchell
83 6. AQUA LIBRE Jennie Candlish Callum Shepherd
82 2. ZAFARANAH Pam Sly John Fahy

Analyst’s Verdict:
Kyllachys Tale pulled well clear of the rest when worn down late by a well-backed Irish raider at Ffos Las a week ago and is wisely turned out before the assessor can react to that run. Zafaranah and Aqua Libre head the opposition.

5.50 Racing Excellence ‘Hands And Heels’ Apprentice Series Handicap (6) 7f

Timeform Top Rated
80 2. CHAMPAGNE BOB Richard Price Jonathan Fisher
79 4. TOPMEUP Gay Kelleway Aled Beech
77 11. SUPAULETTE Tim Easterby Robert Dodsworth

Analyst’s Verdict:
This is very open, but Break The Silence is an uncomplicated ride, which can count for plenty in races like this and he’s fit from a recent win on the AW. Champagne Bob, Supaulette and Topmeup are just a trio of possible threats.

Today’s Bets……..

Good luck if you’re going with our each-way selections today….

Leicester 15.50 – Camacho Chief

Hamilton 16.30 – Lydiate Lady

(Current stakes are £40.11 EW for those backing the 1.25% EW on the £1k to £10k)
