Essaka went very close under his young rider here a fortnight ago and can resume winning ways if in the same form. Broadhaven Honey and Jaganory were in behind him there and should be on the premises again along with Emjayem.

Some promising sorts in the field, with Jahaafel taken to open his account given he could improve markedly from his reappearance run at Wetherby when still looking green. The step up in trip looks a big plus, too. Deliverance shaped well in that same race and seems likely to improve again. Fairly useful hurdler Demon d’Aunou and Dazzling Rock can also have cases made for them.
