A nice winner about old stager MUSCIKA last night at Chelmsford.

David O’Meara’s eight year old looked to have that extra in class and looked to have a bit in hand at the finish 🙂

A bit of shrapnel from Fiftyshadesofred an hour earlier made it not a bad day….apart form the Clarets getting blunted by The Blades 🙁

For those on the new 2022/23 £1k to £10k Annual Challenge, the bank is at £2221.03 with current full stakes at £26.38 EW with over a 44% win/place rate. 

The 2022 Turf bank finished at  +72.89 pts to 1pt EW stakes with over a 43% win/place rate. 

The 2022/3 All-Weather bank stands at +5.4 pts to 1pt EW stakes with over a 47% win/place rate.

One of our turf past winners who threw one in on the AW last year is MUSCIKA.

Ran in over C&D this time last year off 4 higher and backed that up with wins at Lingfield & Wolves up to a mark of 85.

Looking outside of those well fancied 3yo’s,  La Roca Del Fuego looks weighted up to the hilt.

Holds Inevitable Outcome on previous H2H and Lilikan another right on his top winning marks.

Back in a Class 5 has plenty of form above this grade. Looked to be coming back to something near best when hitting the front LTO before being pegged back at Southwell for a 2l 5th of 12.

Adam Kirby does the steering again and plenty of 7’s around with regulation 3 slots.
