Oso Rapido wins….advised @ 16/1

A welcome winner amongst a with OSO RAPIDO doing it for us at a nice price under Ben Curtis..

Roger Fell and Sean Murray’s charge was always handy and won for the first time on the turf since last July.

Advised at 16’s, in the morning, the price held up for a while with most reporting between  and 14’s 🙂 but some as low as 7’s 🙁

It’s been a bit of yo-yoing over the last few weeks and would really like to crack on up to 60pts of profit for the turf at least.

For those on the  2022/23 £1k to £10k Annual Challenge, the bank stands at £1479.69 with current full stakes at £18.50 EW with over a 41% win/place rate.

The 2023 Turf bank stands at +41 pts to 1pt EW stakes with over a 41% win/place rate.

Today’s Selections

Redcar 19.30

Open looking 6f and the 2nd Division of this race.

Will look to one who we last backed last June – 6th in that one came out at lumping prices and won NTO 🙁

Hopefully picked the right occasion tonight!

Roger Fell’s OSO RAPIDO has gradually been coming down the weights and the only one in the field with any real form up in C4 over the last year of this bunch.

Proven over the 7f does have a decent 8-2-4 over going and distance. Prior run had seen him behind Quercus and that was a decent run on easy going.

3 of his 4 wins have been in the quicker surfaces, and, down a grade today, it’s Ben Curtis up top doing the steering that appeals.

4-1-2 up top at all OR’s 80+ and goes off 74 tonight.

He can race up with the pace and plenty of 16’s with FOUR paying places this morning.
