A nice pick up with Paul Mulrennan and  PRIMO’S COMET doing it just a six runner.

Jim Goldie’s charge opened at 8’s and the price held up going off 15/2 with Ecclesiastical that warm odds on order.

Held off the strong challenge of Mereside Angel with the favourite well beaten in 3rd 🙂

For those on the  2022/23 £1k to £10k Annual Challenge, the bank stands at £1091.08 with current full stakes at £13.64 EW with over a 37% win/place rate. 

The 2023 Turf bank stands at +9.85pts to 1pt EW stakes with over a 37% win/place rate.

Don’t often look in 7 runner races but one here stands out on previous.

Ecclesiastical that tracker mentioned the other week on a roll for Tristan Davidson.

Still looks ahead of the handicapper running under penalty, likely to be odds on pushes prices out a tad on the rest.

Will opt for Jim Goldie’s PRIMO’S COMET who has been a ‘seasonal’ scorer. All six wins recorded here on an easy surface on the run into July.

Has been well fancied on two of last three outings. However his profile has needed a few more under the belt going into these prime months.

The 8yo down to 57 with a last winning mark last summer of 72.

Paul Mulrennan does the steering with a general 6’s with two paying slots this morning. bet365 advertise 8’s.
