Our second winner of the day as Joe Fanning got a real tune out of Michael Wigham’s SANAADH.

He fairly flew when asked the question 1f out and caught David O’Meara’s Spiorad at the post. Bonus was a nice drift out to 14’s from the early advised 9’s 🙂

 

For those on the £1k to £10k Annual challenge, its currently over a 40% win/place rate and our bank is £9337.83 with an ROI of over 44% and current stakes £116.72 EW

Today’s Selections

 

Lingfield 13.45

A sole tracker here in Simon Dow’s Roundabout Magic. Nonetheless, despite excellent stable form has never cut it in C5 and with his hold up style likely to find one of these too good.

Our LTO winner Spurofthemoment is another we will keep the money in the pocket for at lumping odds and side with Charlie Wallis’s SMOKEY. This one still looks on the upgrade who gets a 3lb pull for that 3/4l 3rd to the former LTO.

His AW record has 3 wins/8 places from just 10 runs with a treble landed early Autumn. Despite rising from 52-66, has ran well off an unchanged mark on last 3 runs. Drawn high, Lingfield is one of those tracks where a car park draw is not too disadvantageous for front runners.

Would expect another bold bid with William Carson doing the steering who has been in fine form over the last couple of weeks.

There’s a best 15/2 with the regulation 3 slots widely available this morning.

Old favourite Dawwaaleeb goes in this with another tracker Spiorad. Both drop to the 7f  with the former likely to be trying to make all which is a tough act at Gosforth. Whilst David O’Meara’s charge is on a mission for the Redcar mile serie this summer.

Much prefer something with proven 7f ability and Michael Wigham’s SANAADH has that dropping in grade here. He’s closely matched with Kevin Ryan’s Rathbone who still struggles to get his nose in front, despite the early promise, and holds that one on his last run here in February.

He ran well enough for a good chunk of the way behind the re-opposing favourite Diocles Of Rome LTO recording a decent RPR and should be able to build on that.

Joe Fanning is the pilot and this combo have an excellent record here when getting together.
