This weeks rain has more that likely scuppered a few plans although Haydock’s feature, John of Gaunt Stakes has still more than a double handful lining up at our local track. The going will be heavy there and it’s open to conjecture whether another track we target, Beverley, as to what the going will be?

Nonetheless, the course have just tweeted that 4mm fell yesterday and the light showers expected today, leave the going as good to firm.

We have a couple of selections for members below – with a proviso on the Haydock selection in case of going a non-runner.
